Day 1 – Giza Pyramids, Saqqara & Memphis

Start your first day with a visit to the legendary Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure. Enjoy time to explore the pyramids and the Great Sphinx while learning about the fascinating history and achievements of ancient Egyptian civilization. Continue to Saqqara, where you will discover the Step Pyramid of Djoser, one of Egypt’s oldest monumental stone structures, and explore the surrounding ancient necropolis. The day continues with a visit to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, where you can see remarkable statues and archaeological remains, including the colossal statue of Ramses II. After the tour, return to Cairo and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

 

Begin your tour by visiting the Giza Plateau Pyramids. Smoothly go from one to the other, observe the magnificent pyramid of King Khufu (Cheops), the largest pyramid in the world, Then proceed to Khafre (Chephren), which is noted for its smooth Fine limestone. Continue to Old Cairo to explore the city’s historic religious heritage, including the area known for its ancient churches and Islamic monuments. Finish the day at Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s famous historic bazaar, where you can wander through its atmospheric alleys, browse traditional handicrafts and souvenirs, and experience the lively character of old Cairo. Return to your hotel after the tour.

 

Day 3 – Alexandria Day Trip

Depart Cairo in the morning for a full-day excursion to Alexandria, Egypt’s Mediterranean coastal city, known for its fascinating blend of ancient, Roman, and modern history. Visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, an impressive underground necropolis that reflects Alexandria’s multicultural past, followed by the Roman Theater and other historical sites. Continue to the Citadel of Qaitbay, built on the site traditionally associated with the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, and enjoy views of the Mediterranean Sea. Visit the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a modern landmark inspired by the legendary ancient Library of Alexandria. After exploring the city, enjoy some time along the Mediterranean waterfront before returning to Cairo in the evening.
